The Team Behind KES
The people who run Kenya Excellent Centre and School day to day, and who you will deal with when you bring your child here.
Mr. Noah Mweruphe founded the Kenya Excellent Centre and School in 2013 and still runs it day to day. He set out to teach fee-paying children and sponsored children from poor homes in the same classrooms. The school has grown from 30 students to over 400 learners, and its alumni now sit in some of Kenya's most competitive national schools.

Mr. Julius Mwaro
Head of Institution, Primary School
Mr. Julius Mwaro heads the Primary School (Grade 1–6). He runs the CBC timetable, keeps track of how each class is progressing, and works with the teachers on marking and remedial lessons. He is strict about routine, and parents hear from him early when a child starts slipping.

Mr. Idd Amani
Head of Institution, Junior Secondary
Mr. Idd Amani heads the Junior Secondary School (Grade 7–9) and prepares learners for the Kenya Junior Secondary Education Assessment (KJSEA). Subject choices, revision timetables and the discipline of the older learners all come through his office. This is the age where a child can go either way, and he watches it closely.

Md. Phoebe N. Mulama
Head of Institution, Early Years
Md. Phoebe N. Mulama heads Early Years Education (ECDE), taking children from age 3 through PP1 and PP2. For most of them this is the first time away from home, so her first job is simply settling them. Letters, numbers, play and learning to share a classroom follow from there.

Mr. Mazera Dena
Academic Master
Mr. Mazera Dena is the Academic Master, responsible for academic programmes at every level. He draws up the schemes of work, sits in on lessons, and goes through the exam results with teachers at the end of each term. The results KES posts at sub-county and national level come out of that work.
